BuffPang[H] Configuration

Here's a list of setting that might be useful to you when setting up your BuffPang[H] job

Recommended Retail Flyff Server settings :
  1. Log & Setting -> Enable Keyboard Shortcut -> Enable 
  2. Log & Setting -> Use GG Bypass -> Enable 
  3. Log & Setting -> Flyff Window Title -> Set "FLYFF" (Uppercase) 
  4. Log & Setting -> Send Full Key Pres event -> Enable 
Recommended Private Flyff Server Settings :
  1. Log & Setting -> Enable Keyboard Shortcut -> Enable 
  2. Log & Setting -> Use GG Bypass -> Disable 
  3. Log & Setting -> Flyff Window Title -> Set it to match the client window title(case sensitive) 
  4. Log & Setting -> Send Full Key Pres event -> Enable 
  5. Job Manager -> Job -> Configurations -> Enable Dual-Spam -> Disable

Note :
  1. You can only use shortcut on invokable job. 
  2. Try not to spam the shortcut keys to avoid lagging. 
  3. You can have up to 9 job in your invoke list.

Say NO to Penya Spammner..

We finally received a good news in eFlyff (USA) regarding penya spammer infesting out town.


Client Updates Feb 9, 2010:
  • [New Feature] Ignore Player: It is now possible to block chat messages and whispers from players without having them on your Friends List.  The main idea behind this implementation is to give players a way to filter out Penya Spammers or other annoyances in the chat window.  
 How to Use the Ignore Feature:
 - To block a player, simply type the following without the quotes: /Block "playername" or /bl "playername" - Example: /Block Cromiell
 - To unblock a player, simply type the following without the quotes: /Unblock "playername" or /ubl "playername" - Example: /Unblock Cromiell
Important Note about this new feature:
 - Your list of ignored players will be RESET if you log out of the game.
 - This feature does not currently block /say messages. 
 - We feel this is an important feature and we are suggesting modifications to improve upon it.  For now, it should hopefully help reduce the spam and annoyances for some folks.
It took Gala.Net a very long time to come up with a method to stop a spammer in town. But still, this surely change our beloved Flaris town a lot. Once, chatting or saying Hi to a friend was nearly impossible thing to do in Flaris due to massive chat spammer bot that is advertising their penya selling website.


To speed up the process of blocking a penya spammer using the new /Block function, you can use right click on your general chat box. 
  1. First, hover your mouse over the penya spammer name.
  2. Right click on the name.
  3. The chat box is now filled with '/whisper [penya_spammer_name]'
  4. Press 'Home', and press Right Arrow Key once(to position your cursor next to the '/' char)
  5. Hit 'Delete' 7 times(to remove whole 'whisper' text)
  6. Type 'Block'
  7. Press 'Enter'
Its done. No more chat spam from that particular penya spammer will ever populate your chatbox. 

BuffPang[H] 1.9 Beta : Workaround 2

Click job is one of the new feature in BuffPang[H] 1.9. You can choose which button to click (single or double click), the coordinate to click, and also can be used alongside a Key job. However, you might be confused at first with the new Sequential Keys interface. I wish I can think of a simpler way to place it so you can understand it easily. Hope this screenshot guide can help you :)



As for collector job, its actually a predefined combo job, between a Key job and a Click job. This is a very good example on how to manipulate and use Key and Click job.



Here is the break down of the actual collecting job content. You might need to understand this in order to learn how to wisely manipulate the Key and Click job.

BuffPang[H] 1.9 Beta : Workaround 1

Firstly, as most of you might noticed, the heal spam bug still in exist in 1.9 Beta. Here's the workaround to this problem :

  • Put 2 FKey job to spam your Heal skill in the same job. Set the first to 5,000ms (or whatever interval you wish), and the second 500ms only.
  • It'll looks like you are trying to spam 2 Heal in a row. BUT its not. It will only be triggered once.
  • Reason : the internal 50ms delay somehow is not enough to simulate KEY_DOWN and KEY_UP event. I'll adjust this later on next update.
Secondly, the collector job actually creates several sequence of key and click job.From the job manager, you might noticed that it will click the Start/Stop button twice. I purposely added the second click in order to let BuffPang[H] properly start the collecting process. It is a known glitch in Flyff when you starting the collecting process for the first time. You have to remove the second click job manually after the collecting process has started using this job.

Lastly, when using the Coord Finder tool, it is not necessary to use a click(left click) to mark the spot. You can use a right click instead, as this will prevent you from activating the button/item/slot.

Do

  • You can enable Ignore Slot Keys to a job if you are spamming a few keys from the same slot. This will help to prevent any wierd numbers appearing in your chat. BUT you have to be sure that there is no other job trying to change slot.
  • For computers that run slowly or not very fast, set the Log count to 0 (zero) might help.
  • Skills from the Motion menu can also be use as a spam. Very useful for vagrant or low cash player.
  • Hunting for Plug+9 is tiresome. But hunting using class like Magician and Acrobat is a lot easier. You can make it much easier by  spamming "Attack Selected Target" and "Follow" mode while on board.
  • You can help to combat a Penya Spammer by spamming him/her with text shourtcut. Try to create "/GuildInvite spammer_name" "/PartyInvite spammer_name" as your shortcut, and SPAM IT!! He or she will eventually disconnected. If those command is blocked by that char, just spam him with super-long "/say" text.
  • The most common problem for miss buff to occur for Auto Buff job is your walking speed vs your partner walking speed issue. While your partner is running toward mobs at higher speed than yours, the spam that is about to trigger will fail due to range limit for each buff. Take Spirit Fortune for example. It has really short casting range. Try to match your speed with your partner, either buy your RM a Cloak/Flash Charm/Sprint Scroll or simply ask your partner to remove his Cloak/Flash Charm/Sprint Scroll.
Don't
  • Prevent from placing your chat cursor into any of chat box or private message box. A job with a slot key will fail to run properly.
  • When you are trying to create a job related to buffs, try NOT TO mix together buff with short uptime with longer uptime into the same job. Take Geburah Tiphreth and Spirit Fortune. Most RingMaster will able to cast these buff for 40seconds. This definitely a short uptime, thus requires frequent rebuff. Try to place them into a different rebuff job while setting the Interval timer to 45seconds.

  • After you have assigned an Invoke command to a job, you can easily access the Invoke button by enabling 'Always On Top' and using 'Minimize' mode.
  • Don't forget to set your RingMaster to 'Follow' your char. Also, set the RingMaster's target to your grinding char. Auto Buffer and Auto Heal usually fails here since the RingMaster was too far away and did not have your grinding char as its target.
  • FS'ing an AOE char is a pain in the asss. It could be worse when your Auto Heal and Auto Buffer job is triggering at the same time while the grinding char at critical point. For this situation, you can improve your Auto Heal's job chances to execute ahead of any Auto Buffer's job by setting your Auto Heal Job's Id (the number) higher than your Auto Buffer Job's Id. Example : Set you Auto BUff as 'Job Id 0' and Auto Heal as 'Job Id 1'. Use Save,Load and Delete Job function to re-order the Job Id. Load the Auto Buffer job first, followed by Auto Heal job.
